My encaustic art explores several themes – mind, kindness (love), and environment. Mindfulness towards the environment is an important part of my artistic process. Using upcycled and sustainable materials, my work addresses our climate upon which much of our well-being depends.
My series of flowers focuses on form, flower meaning, and hope. Flowers have a magical way of filling their viewers with a sense of peace and calm. Now more than ever, people need a space to rest and recharge. When we take time to stop and smell the roses (or to admire art), we give ourselves love; and in turn, the ability to share love and its kindness with others.
